Received my order quickly and was happy. However it smells like acetone and has me wondering what the drug is suspended in that gives it this horrid smell. I'd hate to feed my ferret something unknown. I have shot them a message but have not heard a response yet. Thought maybe someone on the boards would have some definite answers. Thanks guys
 
I'm guessing something like (Polyethylene Glycol) PEG or alcohol.
 
Nowhere matter you purchase this stuff from, it is going to have a similar smell and tatse. This is normal. It is probably the PEG and/or alcohol, like HI said.
 
I don't doubt that they all use similar methods to produce the product. However its been three days since I emailed them to find out what it is and they have not replied. They pride themselves on quality products and quality customer service. Based on feedback I don't doubt the quality, but I'm not feeding this stuff to my lab rat until I know what's in it. From what I have read online PEG has a sweet smell. This doesn't smell sweet it smells like nail polish remover.
 
This is the liquids in the product;

Distilled water
Glycerine
Ethyl alcohol

Some emails go to our spam box and some providers wont let out replies come through like aol as one example.
