I seem to be a good responder on 100mg test IM cyp. and 0.5mg Anastrozole
Doc may reduce my dose if T gets too high after he gets my E2 at a better level with new prescriptions. Getting Rx for Progesterone, anyone use it? Seems like a good move looking at my high estradiol.

all you need to do is get the e2 under check..that solves the problem(and its not very high)...inject 50mg on Monday and Thursday...take .5mg adex Tuesday and Friday...400mg of b6 and up your omega-3 fats..and lower your sodium intake espc processed foods..

progesterone is for what he is suggesting is uneeded...i'm guessing your HRT Dr also deals in Bioidentical hormones?..he just trying to make some money off you...progesterone unless administered in the vagina or rectum has very poor bio-availability..further more the creams uses some yam or yak plant in them which is unproven to make progesterone absorb thru trans-dermal methods..

if you really want to use progesterone you can buy it in caps for prob 1/10th of what that compound pharm will charge..

not riding ya brother....just looking out..we have bioidentical HRT Dr's coming out of the wood work now..its a cash cow..

Thanks yet again s2h for all the help. I just got the Rx in the mail from the compounding lab, 1-day service! And I just phoned it in EZ style.
The doc sent me to a compund pharmacy because I told him I cut my 1mg Anastrazole tabs in half with a knife and the week before the BW draw I took a smaller sized half-tab. He wants a consistant 1/2mg ew.
I didn't know he was making $ off the Rx. I have to pay out of pocket & then apply for reimbursement from my insurance. Does he get a referral kickback from the compounding lab?
Progesterone 25mg caps x30 caps = $30.
The doc wants me on Progesterone for my inflamed and sore joints, also my high range blood sugar and said it'll help my insulin. That - and my upper range estrogen was what he said.

a lot of the HRT dr's either own or have a stake in many compound pharms..they get treated well by compound pharms they dont have a stake in by the pharm sending patients there way and i'm sure they get nice Christmas presents..

the use of progesterone like he is mentioning has a ton of different schools of thought..as with a lot of natural remedies you will find people who are divided along the lines as too what the best recourse is to take..as for e2 alone i find the use of progesterone pretty unproven..i have no real opinion on the inflammation and insulin side of the reason..never looked into it a whole bunch...try and see...

are the caps oil based?..the would need to be to get and absorption..

Probably repetitive but thanks for sharing your experience s2h. I have no experience with this stuff. But this doc has my T levels up and uses the protocols you guys talked about. tbh - I don't mind if he's getting his beak wet a bit - it's a business. But you're right in not wanting a brother to be a pill bag for profit, believe me I appreciate this 100%.
