Man Confesses To Putting Toddler In Dryer

Please tell me he at least put in a dryer sheet so the kid came out fresh-smelling and wrinkle-free.

What is it with this fucking clueless wonders..?? I was watching John Couey's sentencing on FOX news the other day & the guy was just staring into space without a worried look on his face while he was being sentenced to death..

Wellington - A three-year-old New Zealand girl was hung on a rotary clothes line and spun until she flew off, put in an ice cold bath and a hot air dryer, used for wrestling practice and left screaming on the roof of her house, it was reported on Thursday. The child, named only as Nia, is now in a critical condition with abdominal injuries and bleeding to the brain in Auckland's Starship Children's Hospital, police told the TV3 channel.

Police said four people aged between 17 and 21, including the girl's stepfather, had been arrested in the North Island city of Rotorua and charged with assault.

Detective Mark Loper told TV3 that abuse of the child had begun three weeks ago but becamemore intensive over three days at the end of last week.

The channel reported police as saying the girl's 34-year-old mother was not present at the time, but her two other children, boys aged 10 and eight, witnessed the abuse.

He looks bored.

he looks like a man that spent 2 1/2 years knowing the grisly details of his daughter's rape and murder. he looks like he is prepared to listen to the courts hand down a sentance of death to the asshole that killed her knowing the guy will sit in relative comfort and safety for the next 13 yrs waiting for a humane death. he looks like he is resigned to the fact that the justice he'd like to have isn't going to happen for way too long and and will scarcely be what the pig deserves for what he did. he looks like just another parent depending on a weak and ineffective system while he does "the right" thing and lets the law prevail when he wants to kill the guy himself as he stated in interviews. he looks like a guy that knows fucking well there is a lot more court to sit through before it's over n in the end his child will still be dead n this country will still be catering to the criminals and not the will of the citizens our courts are supposed to represent.

MARK LUNSFORD, DAUGHTER JESSICA ABDUCTED AND MURDERED: Thank you guys.
COLMES: The nation's thoughts are with you and your family tonight, I wonder what your reaction is to the death sentence for John Evander Couey.
LUNSFORD: Well, you know, I felt it lift a lot off of me when the judge said that he would receive death.
COLMES: So you...
LUNSFORD: I'm sorry.
COLMES: Go ahead, sir.
LUNSFORD: And then I thought about the average day on death row in the state of Florida. It could be up to 13 years. That little girl lived nine years. She had no say about the day that she would die. Why should they have say? We need an express lane. States need to start making statements towards sex offenders and predators and our kids and make examples out of them...

COLMES: I'm guessing, if you had an opportunity to communicate directly with him, there would be a few things you'd want to say?
LUNSFORD: I wouldn't say a whole lot to him, but I would sure try to kill him.
COLMES: You would try to kill him?
LUNSFORD: Oh, most definitely. But, now, I can't do that in a courtroom. I spent two-and-a-half years telling people that we had to walk a line, we had to do things the right way. So I put myself in a position where I couldn't lash out. But to those parents that do, I wished you could have got more than you got from them.

what is he supposed to look like? he sitting in a court of law watching bullshit joke "justice" handed down. in the past 2 1/2 years it sounds like he's begun to see that the law is part of the problem because the guy that killed his kid isn't going to be punished fast enough or harshly enough and if the courts were on the ball his kid would be alive cuz the guy that killed her has some pretty creepy fucking priors.

On Friday, February 24, 2005, Mark Lunsford's alarm clock went off at 5:00 A.M., his usual work-day wake-up time. Lunsford, 42, drove a dump truck for a company called the Dirt Boys...

... "In case that you're not here when I get done with my bath, I just want to give you a hug and tell you I love you." Jessica was a very affectionate daughter and would often call her father at work just to tell him that she loved him.

yea, sounds like he's trash. jesus.

Death Sentence for Child Killer

The girls father looks like trash.

I work just down the road from where the Nowak hearings have been taking place here in orlando, and I remember that day. My station was live all day with Nowak, then Couey's sentencing, then awful severe weather, then there was a double murder suicide a couple miles down the road from where I live! I run Master control and tune in all the live trucks, I had to juggle a truck with three reporters, a court tv live feed, a live feed from our affiliate in Tampa, a chopper and department of transportation feed, and handle the retards that were throwing lives into my rundown like monkeys flinging poo randomly!

Summary - I had a happy fun time last week! I need drugs now! :banned:

I agree with LW too, I wouldn't be in any better shape after going through that circus for the last 2.5 years. I think he deserves a freaking gold medal or something for doing everything he's been doing to strengthen state laws and protect kids. Although I think that the cities should not be allowed to impose their will after a state sanctioned sentience has been served (double jeopardy). I can only see that leading to small colonies of these people somewhere in the woods, but that won't be good enough because schools are being built everywhere now. My problem is that is always seems like we are sweeping the problem under the carpet. Some of these people may just need some help (and not to be punished arbitrarily for the rest of their lives), but some really need jail time.

There Rant over.

Lunsford knew something had to be done to protect other children from sexual predators, like Couey. In the weeks after Jessica's body was found, he lobbied the Florida state legislature to enact tougher laws. With the help of Representatives Charlie Dean and Nancy Argenziano, a bill was written that would require increased prison sentences, electronic tracking of all convicted sex offenders on probation, and the mandatory use of state databases by all local probation officials so that known sex offenders could not avoid the scrutiny of law enforcement. The Jessica Lunsford Act was quickly approved and signed into law by Governor Jeb Bush on May 2, 2005. The law took effect on September 1.

This is one of the funniest threads ever.

A guy went to the doctor because of pain in his rectum. It was discovered that he had a high level of ether in his bloodstream. Apparently his roomate had been using ether on him to knock him out while he, um, had his way with him. He was paid a visit by the Ether Bunny. :nerd: Crime is everywhere you can't be too careful. Just don't sleep on your stomach. :p

It looked like you were talking poorly about the bereft father. Lol ... see LW had already dispatched a hit squad to your address with instructions to take no prisoners.

Well,

...

I couldnt think of anything witty to say.

Was gonna say something either about sex or guns, and neither sounded funny enough.

mino said the girls father looked like trash n it looked like you agreed. maybe you both meant the killer but the dad didn't kill her a repeat sex offender did.

the sad thing is we live in a society when assuming the murderer n the father is the same person you would so often be right. i will never understand how a parent survives the death of a child and you hear all the time of mothers and fathers killing their own children.

and tess got escorted home by a cop tonite cuz she was going out to eat with friends n the driver swerved to avoid hitting an animal and went into a ditch. luckily they were all buckled up but tess told the driver "if i died my mom would kill you". she said they left a big dent in the hill. her n i are currently taking driver's ed together n one thing you learn here in class that maybe you don't in other areas is run over the animal. :( it's safer than sudden braking n jerking the wheel which is exactly what the driver did. they are all ok but that was scary.

the guy on the right has up to 13 years of bored to look forward too. at the end it might be less boring when death is not so far away.

What was the name of that dad who shot his son's abductor in the head while being extradited? HE got off with like probation or something very minor for that premeditated murder.
