The Newborn Screening Saves Lives Act of 2007 establishes that all newborns be screened for Heritable diseases, but it also allows genetic testing on the samples taken and also establishes a Clearinghouse of the DNA.

What could they be doing, testing some kind of Super Soldier Serum to find those children who show immunity to it toxicity? Looking for geniuses to recruit into the NSA? Pre-screening for future Psychopaths.....

What if they were to suddenly allow cloning for boltering of the military, how would you feel about your childs exact replica being used by the government?

What if they are making clones to cover up random alien abductions of children, what if all of these sudden cases of Autism are swapped out clones who have had a gene altered?

That applies to Private organizations, the Government is exempt if I recall, the short name is GINA or Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act....
