Overweight/Obesity article on US

Tis the sad truth.
I think health car costs should be increased for those that are obese and rebates be given to people that make an effort to keep their bodes in shape.

Staggering facts. Mind numbing. Well, that explains the 1/4 mile line at the new Krispy Kreme drive-thru the past two days.

My health insurance should be lower because I am lean and healthy.

Essentially, most of us here should have little to nothing for insurance costs. We probably are never sick, and rarly have serious medical issues.

But, life sucks that way. We pay for the fatties and smokers.

I'd also like to add that Kripy Kreme donuts rock my dome!!!!

If the new BMI was used to get those statistics then that percentage should actually be lower.

new BMI???

The US put out a revised body mass index. It basically put more people in the obese catagory.

Here it is.

I'm aiming for 27 myself .. 180lbs on a 5"8 frame .. at the moment I'm very close to being obese (at 14% BF).

should be doable ...
