Hey guys,
Wanted to make this thread to ask what individuals do as far as their periodization program.
There are various opinions and strategies. I personally follow NASM's protocol
of
stabilization
strength endurance
hypertrophy
maximal strength
power
Each phase according to them should be done for 6 weeks. Those are just basic guidelines . But I feel its relative to person and their goals. I personally believe that stabilization training is great for correcting muscular imbalances as well improving nervous system function but where true body transformation comes from is through Strength building phase.
NASM clearly is a very reputable company and I feel you can take something from each company that puts out certifications, each have their strong points. I feel that every form of training has its place but its relative as i said to your goals and the best way to get there.
