There are a couple trains of thought on this.

I've heard to take GH before fasted cardio for fat burning effects. But then I've also heard to take GH Post w/o also.

Try it both ways for 2 weeks per protocol and decide for yourself!

You've heard it post workout or post cardio? I definitely rec taking it after you lift for anabolism and also fat burning effects but before if you're only doing cardio.
