Hcg always says IM on the packaging.
You can shoot it either way. Most do sub q.

Oh I'm eating those words now...I'd rather not explain why, but I'm very seriously considering doing a subq pin with a 23 gauge, 1.5' needle right now...

Edit: Obviously I'm still only pinning it like 5/8' deep. So I guess the gauge is all that's really relevant.

Nah, it's all cool. Just pinned the delt. It was tough holding the syringe steady while trying to aspirate, but whatever.
