Menlo Park Bodybuilder / Personal Trainer Busted for Steroids and Recreational Drugs
by Millard Baker ~ source

A Menlo Park personal trainer was busted for selling anabolic steroids and a variety of recreational drugs after Homeland Security agents intercepted a package containing 499 grams of anabolic steroids and 4,374 tablets of Xanax. The steroid and Xanax shipment was shipped to a private mail box (PMB) address at the UPS Store in Menlo Park. The private mail box rental belonged to Perry Mosdromos.

The mail seizure was the basis of a search warrant for Mosdromo???s home in Palo Alto and his place of business in Menlo Park. The Menlo Park Police Department???s Narcotics Enforcement Team and federal agents with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) executed the two search warrants on June 7, 2012.

The multi-jurisdictional ???Safe Streets Task Force??? discovered ???thousands of anabolic steroids???, Ecstasy (MDMA) along with ???tens of thousands of prescription drugs??? including Vicodin, Percocet, Lorazepam, Diazepam and Valium at his home. Mosdromos allegedly ordered the drugs from various international countries, repackaged them, and shipped them domestically to customers around the United States. The estimated street value of the steroids and narcotics seized during the raid was $250,000 according to Menlo Park Police Sergeant Eric Cowans.

Police did not report the discovery of any drugs at his place of business. The former competitive bodybuilder also operated a personal training consulting company that operated under the name ???One 2 One Fitness???. Mosdromos reportedly worked as a personal trainer for Peak Performance Chiropractic according to Sgt. Cowans in a Menlo Police Department press release. However, this may not be an accurate representation of the relationship between Mosdromos and Peak Performance.

The PeakPerformanceCEI.com website only lists ???1-2-1 Fitness??? as a ???Wellness Partner??? and offers its clients access to 1-2-1 personal training services ???located above Peak Performance Chiropractic.???

Mosdromos was charged with multiples counts of sales of narcotics and prescription drugs and booked into the San Mateo County Jail. He was later released on $25,000 bond according to San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe. Mosdromos is scheduled to be arraigned on July 10, 2012.

UPDATE: The Menlo Park Police corrected inaccurate information regarding the employment status of Mosdromos:
Although Mosdromos??? offices are located at Peak Performance in Menlo Park and the personal training services are offered there, he is not an employee of the chiropractic offices and in fact is an independent contractor.
