Alright sorry for the terrible log, been running wide open, havent been able to be online as much as I like. We have a few guys at the gym I train at with fights coming up and I have been sparring with them non stop.
So as you can see we ended up bumping his test to 400mg a week, dropped the deca. I should have done that from the beginning but being that I am also in the trades I know how much I love deca/npp for the joints.
As of Febuary 11th he weighed in at 180#'s, his max bench was 205, his max squat was 205 not a hack squat but going deep and max dead was 225. Mind you these numbers are nothing stellar but he has made huge strides over the last 2 years. Also since he trains with me our workouts always were based around muscle endurance, but since he got on it has been about size.
As of today he is a clean 192#s, he cant believe he has put on 12#s and his jeans still fit but no so much his shirts. He also says damn I am "feeling great" with everything he is going thru this is big. His workouts are tough and he is focusing his aggresion at the gym his max bench shot up fast benched 275 clean last week, squated 255 and dead lifted 285. We are still working on his legs he has a terrible case of chicken legs but he is working like a madman to fix that.
The sides he has noticed, he has to shave twice a day, a lil acne, but for the most part nothing major. There has been no pip at all which there shouldnt be. So all in all everything is going great and he is making huge strides.
I will try and update more often and maybe tonite get some measurements from him, If not maybe I can get him to do bloods right now.
I do have one question, since he was on the low end on test for his age and thinking of trt. Should we just crash his test after cycle and not run a pct? His doc said he was on low end but not low enough blah blah, but if after cycle we dont run a pct and just crash his test he will definitly be on trt. We are worried he will loose everything he has gained so far but he feels so much better in general since he started his cycle.
Unless the guy has a testosterone level of less than 350 ng/dl (as well as a free testosterone level also approaching the deficient range), then it is horrible idea for such a young guy to go on TRT. One thing I have been seeing more and more of lately, is this idea that everyone should just go on TRT so they can avoid the ups & downs of cycling and PCT. The problem with that is once you go on gear forever, you are going to run into some pretty serious problems if not rectified. For example, TRT makes you infertile. Even TRT dosages of test majorly reduce sperm count and impair motility...to the point that many guys cannot get their wives pregnant. For guys who already have children, are in their 30's, and have decided not to have anymore, this is no big deal. However, for young 20-somethings, even if they think they don't want kids in the future, they have no clue what they will want when they are in their 30's. More so, even if they never do, what if their future wife does, which is likely? What then? The point is that it can cause a major problems that is not always so easy to correct....and it is not always about the steroid user. A person's choices often affect those around him.
After years of being constantly suppressed, the testicles become damaged and lose their ability to produce testosterone (and sperm) normally. For some guys, even when going off all AAS and being put through an intensive HCG/Clomid regimen, they still have trouble concieving....sometimes taking years to impregnate their wife. I know a few guys who 3 years later (now in their late 30's and wives the same age) still haven't been able to have kids. In every case, the wife is not the problem...and let me tell you, the wives are NOT happy that their husbands fucked themselves up and are making them go through this shit, possibly being forced to have kids at 40+...or maybe never. They never told their wives before marrying them that they may have trouble having children...mostly because they did not know themselves...because they were too fucking dumb to reserach the potential consequences of permanent AAS use.
The bottom line is it is fucking assinine to go on TRT in one's eary 20's if there is no need...and it is even more stupid when the person is a steroid novice and hasn't even achieved a half-way decent level of development...and by half-way decent I mean "looking like a BB'r". Many novice steroid users end up not even lifting weights 5-10 years down the road, let alone making any money from their chosen sport. Finally, what makes this entire idea even more fucking moronic is the fact that beginners-intermediates do NOT NEED to stay on AAS in order to make great progress. Hell, almost all pro BB'rs from the 80's and many from the 90's took considerable time off gear throughout the year, including some Mr. Olympias! So, if nearly every pro BB'r from the 80's and many from the 90's can reach that size while taking considerable time off every year, why in hell would some tiny kid think he needs to stay on hormones permanently just to look good or excell in his chosen sport?
So, what are the benefits to going on TRT at such a young, immature age (the fact that they're considering TRT at that age shows their immaturity and/or ignorance)? Not many. They can save a few bucks on PCT drugs and avoid the hormonal ups & downs, which are not a big deal anyway. It is not going to get them bigger any faster. What will get them bigger more quickly is putting more effort in their training & diet with each successive cycle. you say yoiur friend likes staying on because he 'feels good". Well guess what? Feeling good is not a good enough reason...and again, it shows his immaturity, as he is willing to place himself on a path to potentially severe complications, without even evaluating how this might affect him down the road, just so he can feel a bit better right now? Steroids might be considered a relatively safe category of drugs in comparison to something like methamphetamines, but they can still cause MAJOR problems...even
death through premature heart attack/stroke...especially among those who are ignorant.
I give a BIG thumbs down to ANYONE considering going on AAS permanently at such a young age and/or if their level of development is anything other than very impressive by conventional standards.
Lastly, what were his lab readings...both total and free test using ng/dl?
