My first Deca cycle

Hello everyone.
Just thought that it might be interesting to post my first cycle experiences over the comming weeks just incase anyone is interested. I am 25, currently weigh about 178 have trained since I was 17.
I have decided to go for a deca only cycle of 400mg/week for 8 weeks. I have read opposing views on this, some say its a waste, others say they gain 20 pounds. The reason I didn't stack first time is because I don't want any hair loss (a lot of the blokes in my family are complete slap heads). and truith be told I am a bit of a pussy. I got some organon yellow tops from holland off a site on the net (in the uk we can import steroids legally, which is nice)
I took my first injection a week ago which freaked the fu*$ out of me, but the second one was easier. I plan to alternate my ass
cheaks for injection points. I have absorbed a lot of info from Charles Poliquin who seems to know his stuff and have chosen the following split

Day 1 - Chest, Biceps
Day 2 - Legs, Hams, Calfs
Day 3 - Off
Day 4 - Back, Triceps
Day 5 - Off
repeat.

1 week in I have already gained 1/4 inch on my arms - though this might not be due to the drugs. Does anyone know how long this stuff takes to kick in?
I have got some clomid which I plan to neck 3 weeks post cycle.
If any of you guys have any comments, advice or experiences of a similar cycle, I would be interested to hear it..... hope this post isnt to long! Cheers
 
I thought people did lose hair on deca, good luck with it.

Deca should normally start working I'd say week 4-5, I always use test though.
 
be warned, you may get "deca dick". I did accouple deca only cycles and I have to admit it was hard to get it up. i would run some test in there just incase. it shut me down hard. I would recomend taking the deca for 10-12 weeeks seeing how it is just kicking in around week 4-5. i would recomend starting the PCT 3 weeks after your last injection and run it for 4 weeks. I would run it 4 weeks because (like i mentioned above) it shuts you down hard. good luck!

i dont like deca, never have never will. Tren is by far my fav sub for it any day.

BTW martigan, I'm ASSuming you just forgot to list shoulders in your w/o routine. Honesly, I would think about adding a little test in there. A little test is not gonna make all your hair fall out, but will keep your dick working.

I am doing no direct shoulder work as I read some stuff by charles poliquin who said if you are hitting chest and back well enough you dont need specific shoulder work.
I am getting back to basics with bench, chest dips, weighted chins, dead-lifts, squats and a good variety of arm exercises.

'If' I do get a floppy cock I could get a little bit of test I suppose... I have some viagra on hand if I get stuck in a tricky situation in the meantime. Would any orals do the trick? i,e a few mg of dianabol or winstrol?

That leaves out the lateral head of the delt which also is the most mass of the delt. Alot of those guru types IMO are missing some brain cells or are gifted so that some things work for them and not others.

I dont do a tremendous amount of delt work, but you better believe I do hit them, if I dont they shrink like everything else.

I used to like Coors Extra Gold but it died in my region years ago, MGD is the only cheap American-water I drink when I drink at all.

Well here is my 3 1/2 week report and back to talking about my deca cycle.
After a bloody long wait this stuff is now kicking in I think. I am up 9 pounds already and my arms have grown over 1/4 inch. Not sure how much of that weight gain was xmas turkey though so I might not count all of it. I can still get a boner, though my libido is down, but as I just broke up with my bitch that is actually helping in a way... Havn't been choking the chicken over filth on the net as often either, No other side effects to report.
Finding it hard to up the calaries as I am scared of getting fat and I am full all the time, currently eat about 500 more than usual per day and have a mrp about 10 at night... good idea???.
Just finished chest and bis workout... bench was up 4kg (8.8 Ib) for the same number of reps as last week.. so all in all I am feeling positive about the weeks ahead.

5 and a half week report. Excellent!, I am now up a total of 18 pounds (196), 3 or 4 probably due to fat to be honest though. Arms have grown a total of 1 inch (now 16.5) since I started and strength is increasing consitantly in every workout, except for my chins, but this may be due to my extra weight.
side effects... Libido still down, did shag my ex last night though (dope!). Had crazy pump in my biceps for one workout which really hurt. Also had quite bad pain in lower back when doing deadlifts despite good tecnique.
Have got some more clomid (40 * 50mg) and 400mg more deca to extend the cycle 1 week... this is so I can finish my cycle and PCT just in time for a holiday to South Africa.
Thinking about cutting back on the leg work and deadlifts and concentrating on arms in the last few weeks, would this work or does the body tend to grow uniformally? Also will the gains slow down much towards the end of a cycle?
 
Doing arms wont make the legs grow but you will receive no additional benefit from only doing arm work, unless it is to get them to catch up with the rest of your body while letting the rest of your body not grow at all.
