Is there a way to count them ?
Do you have a link that contains detailed information about them?
Thanks

I read somewhere that all food in the US will be required to list the Trans fat content on the label sometime this year. I'll try to find u a link. There's some good info on TFA's in the Diet sticky

I heard August 2004 but I don't know how much they are pushing it

Isn´t it difficult to calculate them since the way you cook modify how they are ?

here is some info about trans fats that most do not discuss.

fatty acids (and cholesterol) are used to construct all cell membranes in the human body. when an inferior fatty acid such as a trans fat is used to construct a cell membrane it's chemical structure is not compatibile with any other type of fatty acid so it doesn't really "fit". think of building a dike with holes built into it...same thing

so basically trans fats weaken the cell membrane's protective structure and function, which allows disease microbes and toxic chemicals to get into the cell more easily...

ever notice why a lot of people who constantly eat junk food get sick ? this is one of the reasons why
