I have a hard time sleeping right after consuming alot of protein. Seems like my mind is racing, and I can't sleep. I have always eaten starchy and sugary foods before bed, and I'm sound asleep then. I've read a couple of articles that protein wakes the body and mind up, and doesn't allow it to sleep.
The thing is that starchy and sugary foods before bed inhibit the release of HGH, and I don't want to do that. And I know I should have some protein in my body to put it in a anabolic state, but then no sleep ?
Anybody had this problem?
