Hey guys, I started to run suicides after lifting. I lift for about 30-40 minutes then do suicides till im exhausted. My goal is to lose weight and to maintain my strength. What do you guys think?
 
Suicides are sprints.

Why don't you just run for 20+ minutes at a nice constant pace? You will lose weight easier that way. You will maintain your strength, trust me. Jesus, I run quite a bit and I would still say Im strong. However, I do run AFTER I lift, sometimes in the morning.

I would not do high intensity interval training after weights unless it was after a small body part like, shoulders, biceps or triceps. better to split it up in the am or pm or save it for non-weight training days
 
I'd NEVER even think about it on a leg day.

I did drop sets on leg extensions today... hurts just to think about running... ack
 
Cardio is the most effective on off-days, early in the morning -IMO
 
I wouldnt see anything wrong with it considering your goal.
