How long of a shelf life?

I was just wondering after you purchase creatine and whey protein how long of a shelf life does it have? I know this stuff won't spoil but will it loose it potency?

As long as it stays at room temp. It sould last a couple of years.
Do yours not have an expiration date?

Most of the creatine I've bought has a year and a half or so from when I get it
