Hey guys,
This was a reoccurring problem with me for years ago (12-20ish remember playing sports and having the same pain, now I am 25) that just happened to go away and has started again few weeks ago.
I was doing cardio and I got a extremely sharp to dull throbbing pain on my right side just below to near the bottom of my rib cage. It is so sharp I have to stop working out within 5 to 10 minutes of my cardio. I seriously thought I was having a stroke or heart attack when it happened.
I still have been going to the gym and doing what I can ; however, this week it has been throbbing on both sides of my body in the same place with little pain just sitting at the office and it is also shooting a slight pain to my back/lower back. Normally lifting alone does not cause pain. The pain has been starting when my heart rate gets up, cept for this week.
I have had issues with digesting food when I was younger, some crazy doctor/nutritionist believed I had something called "leaky gut". He lost his licenses a few years later, so I took it for what it was. But I really don't remember much about that and I have significantly change my diet since then.
My workout buddies and some of my personal draining friends think this might be a pulled muscle around that area, forget name of it or even a sprang or fracture in my ribs that has gone unnoticed (which I wouldn't say is not possible with how I use to treat my body some years ago).
I also typically take Animal Pak, Glucosamine, ON Whey, fish oil, and 2 to 3 times a year I cycle on ECY for 6 to 8 weeks at a time.
Anyone have any idea or send my in the right direction for what type of doctor I should go see. I currently don't even have a doctor or been to one in years (seriously like 6 if not more).
Thanks,
