Have your cities been getting hit by copper bandits alot lately? We've had several miles of copper wire stolen from street lights and copper fittings stolen from public restrooms. They get anywhere from $2.75 to $3.00 a pound for the stuff, I may have to take up a night hobby.
Yeah, Copper II gets a hell of a nice bit of change. My dad works for Alabama Power, and one of his perks of his job was that he was allowed to haul that shit home whenever the plant had an outage, and replaced the old wire.
One of the most profitable summer jobs I ever had was burning the insulation off of the wire so that it would fetch more.
My brother and I could easily pull a couple thousand for a truckload of wire.
