IML Gear Cream!
I had bought some ground turkey about 6 days ago to use for a BBQ, and unfortunately we didn't get around to eating it. Its still sealed up in my refridgerator, but, its been 6 days. The sell by date is actually the 26th, 6 days from now, and the meat looks the same as the day I bought it, but I'm not sure if its safe to eat or not. What do you all think??

it sound be fine, open it up and smell it! you will know!

Depends on the exp date, it sounds like it could be bad.

Open it and smell it and check the texture. If it feels slimy, like a coat of slime, ditch it :shake:

When you say for a BBQ does that mean you had it in a cooler and then brought it home and stuck it in the fridge? If so then it is probably no good. If it's been in the fridge for 6 days it's on the verge of not being any good now, just be safe and toss it, those few dollars will be nothing compared to missing a day or more of work if you chance it.

I Usually Go By The Smell. When Turkey Goes Bad You Know It!

eat it!! eat it!! eat it!! eat it!! eat it!! eat it!! eat it!!
