Sounds like some of the shite condoned by Ellington Darden (in his book 'BIG' pub.1994?) that one could develop one's maximum potential by using "super slow repetitions", within "2"(!!!!) years*. These sort of shit books{in different formats} keep on coming out over the years, and they totally screw up one's perception of what weight-training or bodybuilding should be or might be about. It certainly never did me any favours, that Ellington Darden book.......
I burned my copies of Ellington Darden 's books, and my copy of 'Brawn' back in Nov.2004. in the fireplace.It gave me great pleasure.
*I don't have the book anymore, I think that's what he said.....
