I have been training for about 2 years now 4 times a week. I have made very decent gains in that time to the tune of 40lbs from my previous weight. I have never had any issues with pain other than tenderness from working out which is normal.
Well about 6 weeks ago on bench press after I was done my set I got up and had a deep uncomfortable feeling in my shoulder that seemed to run to my bicept. I took it easy for a few days and upon return to the gym it was evident something was wrong.....now its not unbearable ...its uncomfortable. So I left training my shouldersand chest for two weeks......just did some really light weight exercises to get it moving and stretch it out. well now its been somewhat fine again until last night when it started up all over again.
The pain runs from my shoulder into my bicept.......I feel like the strength in my left arm has come down quite a bit. And now need a time out again from my regular training.
What do you think this could be....and anyone have some advise about healing this up. I really dont wanna be on down time for too long.
