At USA, there is a new game gaining popularity called manhunt. Basically, about 25 people have 1 hour to make it from one end of the campus to the other. There are about 50 to a 100 chasers in cars and trucks chasing after the runners. The game is really intense. It takes place at 10:00 at night, and the runners are in full black cloths or camo with our bodies painted like we are navy seals or some shit. A lot of the runners are military people. The game requires a lot of stamina and stealth, but it is a huge adrenaline rush. At one point I was hiding in the swamp lieing down under a bush while 8 people hunted for me, but couldn't find me in the dark.
Last night I was doing pretty well, until I was spotted and tried to lose about 4 chasers by darting through the woods. I was running top speed when I ran off of the side of a bank and landed 9 feet down on a concrete embankment that pretty much rendered my immobile for about 20 minutes. I gashed my leg open all the way to the bone.
I just got back from the hospital. I had to get a lot of my wounds cleaned and bandaged. I lost a lot of blood. My shoes and socks were completely red from blood and all of my sheets were soaked with blood this morning.
Hopefully, I will be healed by next Saturday and can play again.
